Piper Aircraft has announced the addition of two new brand ambassadors to the Piper Brand Ambassador Program. These students are both pursuing professional flight degrees and certifications at Middle Georgia State University (MGSU), a Piper Flight School Alliance member and longtime fleet customer of Piper Aircraft.
Piper Brand Ambassadors are students at select Piper Flight School Alliance fleet partner schools that post on social media in support of the Piper brand. Ambassadors showcase aviation and lifestyle content to their followers and share the life of a student flight training in the Piper product lineup. The ambassador program originated at the University of North Dakota (UND) with four ambassadors in 2020 and has since expanded to include five flight school partners. Currently, the program exists at UND, Minnesota State University at Mankato, the L3Harris Flight Academy, and Purdue University. Middle Georgia State University is the fifth addition to the program, and the second school in the southern United States to receive ambassadors.
Ambassador candidates apply for the program via an online application, in-depth social media review, and interview. After reviewing numerous qualified applicants, Piper and Middle Georgia State University have selected Jake Dever and Francisca Pollarolo as MGSU’s first brand ambassadors.
Jake Dever is a junior at Middle Georgia State University studying Aviation Science and Management with a focus on flight. He’s an instrument-rated private pilot with a little over 350 hours currently pursuing his commercial certificate. In addition to being a student at Middle Georgia, Jake owns a Piper Cherokee himself, which he enjoys flying all over the country. When asked what he looked forward to the most about joining the Piper Brand Ambassador program, he said “I look forward to not only represent[ing] Middle Georgia State, but also the Piper brand as a whole, and I can’t wait for the adventures this opportunity takes me on!”
Francisca Pollarolo is a Middle Georgia State University junior pursuing a degree in both Aviation Science with a concentration in flight, and Business with a focus in marketing. Recently, she obtained her instrument rating, and is now working towards her commercial certificate. As both a Chilean and Italian student, she now resides in the United States to achieve a career in aviation, as well as furthering her passion of playing soccer as a MGSU student athlete. When asked what her biggest goal was in the Brand Ambassador program, she hopes “to be able to inspire fellow aviators as well as represent other foreign pilots like myself.”
Piper is proud to welcome such incredible students to the Piper Brand Ambassador program. “Piper Aircraft deeply understands the value our flight school customers across the nation bring to our brand,” said Marketing and Events Manager, Alba Walcott. “It is our honor to include such an esteemed university like Middle Georgia State University in this initiative, and we have no doubt that Jake and Francisca will represent the Piper brand beautifully throughout their tenure as ambassadors.”
