McFarland Johnson Welcomes Keith Brune as Project Executive to Support Executive Program Management Growth

McFarland Johnson (MJ) has announced that Keith Brune, A.A.E., IAP has joined the firm as a Project Executive based in their Hollywood, Florida office. Keith brings more than 40 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry, where he has held numerous executive roles guiding operational strategy, infrastructure planning and capital program implementation, and organizational development.

In his new role, Keith will support the strategic expansion of MJ’s Executive Program Management services for commercial service airports across the country. His work will focus on elevating MJ’s capabilities in delivering high-level program oversight, leadership alignment, and client engagement at the executive level.

Keith’s extensive industry knowledge and involvement with national aviation associations position him as a key asset in MJ’s ongoing efforts to serve the evolving needs of the airport industry through thoughtful, experienced leadership.

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
