HUB International’s Cindy Hales elected President for the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association

Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading full-service global insurance broker, is pleased to announce that Cindy Hales has been elected to serve as President for the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association. Cindy takes over the helm passed on by John Gale, Director of Flight Operations for Nike. Additionally, it is worth noting that Cindy is the first woman to serve as President in the organization’s almost 25-year history.

Cindy provided her thoughts on the election saying, “I’m excited to follow in the footsteps of the amazing leaders who have held the President’s role of the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association before me.  I look forward to promoting and growing our regional business aviation community.  Together, with a very strong and diversified board, we will continue to provide a bridge between our community and regulators and facilitate the professional development of our current and future members (something I’m very passionate about), as well as strengthening industry relationships.” 

Cindy Hales serves as the Aviation Practice Leader / Senior Vice President of Hub International Northwest, LLC.  With nearly 28 years of experience, Cindy provides insurance solutions for all facets of the aviation industry.  She has extensive experience working with various commercial operators such as airlines, cargo and charter operators, fixed base operators, aircraft manufacturers, commercial rotor wing operators, and more.  She is a 25-year HUB Northwest veteran who excels at providing her clients with the most comprehensive coverage at the most competitive prices.

Cindy is also responsible for providing professional expertise on more complex aviation risks to HUB International’s teams across the country. She is licensed in the United States and British Columbia.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
