Duncan Aviation has announced that several current team members have taken on new responsibilities with the Customer Service team. With the new hangar for the Duncan Aviation’s facility in Provo, Utah, set to open in January 2019, the Provo location recently welcomed its new Customer Service Manager, Russ Haugen.
As Haugen transitions to his new role in Utah, another long-time team member at the Duncan Aviation Lincoln facility, Will Morris, has accepted the position of Assistant Manager for Customer Service in Lincoln. New Project Manager Billing Assistant Jennifer Scotter also recently joined the Customer Service team in Lincoln.
“Duncan Aviation team members know from the day they start at our company that opportunities for career advancement abound,” says Vice President of Customer Service Doug Alleman. “The company hires new team members with the skills we need and offers training and internal promotions to current team members as often as possible. As Duncan Aviation expands its facility in Provo, Utah, there are numerous career opportunities for both current and future team members.”
Haugen began his career at Duncan Aviation in 1992 in the Avionics Install Shop as a Sheet Metal Technician. After several years, he transitioned to the Turbine Engine Shop, taking on the responsibilities of Team Leader a short time later. In 2008, Haugen joined Customer Service as a Project Manager and became the Assistant Manager of Customer Service in 2016. Haugen and his wife, Mindy, are looking forward to their new adventure as they join the Duncan Aviation team in Provo.
Morris, a Kansas State (Salina, Kan., campus) graduate grew up in Logan, Kan., and joined Duncan Aviation in 1999 as an avionics install technician. After serving as Team Leader for several years, Morris transitioned to Project Manager in 2008, and he’s been recognized by team members and customers alike for the outstanding job he’s done on several large projects completed at the Lincoln facility. Morris and his wife, Lesa, have two daughters. When he’s not running them to their various events, he is learning Spanish.
Duncan Aviation’s Upholstery Shop is where Scotter began her career with the company in 2011. After attending Southeast Community College in Lincoln, she transferred credits to Bellevue University in Bellevue and is working on a degree in Project Management. When not working or studying, Scotter takes hikes with her two large dogs and cooks gourmet meals with friends.
