McFarland Johnson (MJ) has announced that Jeff Mishler, PE has joined the firm as Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Aviation Division.
Mishler will serve as a technical lead for aviation planning projects throughout North America and will be based in the Houston, Texas area. He brings with him, more than 39 years of experience in managing airport master planning, airport engineering, and aviation system planning projects, as well as environmental planning studies, and demand forecasting and financial feasibility analyses.

Most recently, Mishler served as Vice President, Aviation Planning Service Group at RS&H, Inc. and prior to that he was Associate Vice President at HNTB Corporation. During his career, he has led the development of over 50 master plans at airports ranging in size from small general aviation to large hub, oversaw more than 25 airport planning on-call contracts, and has been involved in numerous engineering studies, air cargo plans, system plans, noise studies, and feasibility and capacity planning projects for mid to large hub airport clients throughout the country and internationally.
