The Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority (GARAA) has announced that Angela Wagner, MSHR, SHRM-SCP is its new Director of Administration and Human Resources.
Wagner is an experienced human resources professional, most recently as Director of Human Resources with a large medical practice headquartered in western North Carolina where she was directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of all human resources activities for the business. She has extensive experience in development and administration of policies and procedures, human resources information system (HRIS) implementations, employment law and employee benefits administration.
Wagner earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in German from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Western Carolina University. She is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) of the Society for Human Resource Management and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Western North Carolina Human Resources Association. She volunteers time as a member of the Western North Carolina University’s Master of Human Resources Advisory Board.
