Rep. Graves Announces Annual WingNuts Flying Circus Air Show and Fly In

Tarkio Air Show Representative Sam Graves (R-MO) recently announced the 14th Annual WingNuts Flying Circus Air Show and Fly In to be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Gould Peterson Memorial Airport (K57) in Tarkio, Missouri.Â The event brings together general aviation pilots, aviation industry leaders, government officials and Members of Congress to share their mutual passion for flying. The WingNuts will host an aviation town hall meeting to discuss the issues facing general aviation today.

Food and drinks will be available throughout the day. For those flying in the day before, Friday the 7th, there will be a dusk aerial demonstration by the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Matt Younkin and Gary Rower followed by a celebration that evening with plenty of food, beverage and music. There will also be a very spirited celebration after the show on Saturday night.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal.
