STEVE K EAGAN JOINS BELFORT SALES TEAM

BALTIMORE, MD. – Belfort Instrument Company, one of the country’s oldest meteorological sensor and meteorological system manufacturers, is pleased to announce that Steve K. Eagan has been hired by Belfort Instrument Company as Sales & Marketing Manager, Environmental Products.

Steve has more than 20 years in the environmental sensor and system markets including synoptic meteorological stations, Road Weather Information Systems, and Automated Weather Observation Systems for aviation.

Steve will head up the sales and marketing of Belfort’s new line of environmental sensors including the AEPG 600/1000 Weighing Rain Gauge, the AEDA Model 140A Aerovane Anemometer, and the Model 6500 Visibility Sensor as well as continue the sales of Belfort’s world renowned legacy sensors.

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C.
