Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2025

The Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2025. The honorees are:

  • Bryan Bedford, President and CEO, Republic Airways; pilot
  • Jay Brill, BGen., USAF (Ret.)
  • Mark Brown, NASA Astronaut, Col., USAF (Ret.)
  • Jerry Ross, NASA Astronaut, Col., USAF (Ret.)
  • Richard “Rick” Rowe, former Chief Pilot and VP of Operations, ATA Airlines; FAA Inspector
  • Alexander Vraciu, Cmdr., USN (Ret.), WW II Ace
  • Mary “Marty” Wyall, WW II WASP historian       

These distinguished individuals made significant and enduring contributions to the history of aviation and aerospace in Indiana, the nation, and the world through their achievement, leadership, exceptional service, innovation, or entrepreneurial spirit.

The Honorees will be inducted as the Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame Class of 2025 at the Honors Banquet on September 27th, 2025, at the 502 Event Center, Carmel, Indiana. Induction earns a permanent Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame plaque displayed at the Indianapolis International Airport, a personal medallion and crystal award.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. From 2013 to 2018, he was Director of Communications and Operations for the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) in Washington, D.C. Relocating to North Carolina, Kim worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for two years and now concentrates solely on the Journal. Prior to his aviation career, Kim spent a decade in the newspaper and magazine business.
