Soaring at Torrey Pines

Torrey Pines Gliderport, on the cliffs of La Jolla, California, was first established as a soaring site in 1928 and has defined the history of motor-less flight. Today the Gliderport is home to hang gliding, paragliding, scale models, and sailplane flight. Torrey Pines Gliderport provides quality instruction, certification, tandem flights, equipment sales, glider repair services, and excellent year round flying conditions.

Whether you are a flyer or not, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and enjoy a meal at the Cliff Hanger Cafe, while watching all of the activity.
