Registration Open for Upcoming Airport Security Coordinator Training

(12/11/09 -Tucson, AZ)  Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) courses will be held in San Antonio, Texas in January so that several airports can take advantage of the training and economically use travel budgets. The Texas ASC course will be held at the San Antonio International Airport on January 15.

The daylong course follows the curriculum guidelines of the TSA.  Certificates are issued to each attendee of the ASC program to document completion of TSAR§1542.3(c) training  requirement.

The ASC class can assist airports that may have gone through staff changes or have grown and need to qualify additional personnel.  The TSA has stated, "having long-time ASCs and new ASCs in the same class provides an opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge accumulated by experienced ASCs”.  Participants share experiences and benchmark case studies.  Security personnel will share their operational expertise and make this a rewarding experience for all attendees.   The workshop style classes include discussion on the role of DHS, threat information and the ASC responsibilities, as well as writing and maintaining a current airport security program.

There is still time to register by December 23, 2009 and confirm a spot in one of the upcoming courses.  Register online at http://www.aviaed.net/registration.php.   To find out more information about courses being held in your area contact AviaEd directly.  Airport personnel who are unable to attend the course should contact AviaEd directly to schedule a training session onsite at their airport.

AviaEd has conducted more ASC classes for the nation’s airports than any other company.  For information on other programs offered, visit www.AviaEd.NET and click the link http://www.aviaed.net/classes.php  email Info@AviaEd.NET  or call (480) 706-3707.
