In North Dakota, Fargo boarded an additional 3,228 passengers compared to last October, setting a record for the month, while Grand Forks topped their previous October record by 1,268 passengers. Larry Taborsky, North Dakota Aeronautics Commission Director (shown at right), tells us that his state has the attention of the nation’s airlines. “They are adding flights because it is a good business decision.” Meanwhile, both Dickinson and Williston have established a new mark, shattering old records as the airports make plans for the long-term growth predictions. Bismarck and Minot were as busy as ever, with passenger numbers rivalling last year’s records. We’re planning for this level of activity for at least 30 years,” said Taborsky.
