J.A. Air Center today announced a ZERO downtime program for King Air operators looking to upgrade to the Garmin G1000 avionics suite. J.A. Air is one of a select group of authorized dealers specifically approved for the G1000 retrofit installation program and the only one to offer the ZERO downtime option. The program allows customers to fly away the same day they input their airplane into the shop in JA Air’s G1000 equipped King Air.

The G1000 system features a 15-inch Multi-Function Display (MFD), with a 10-inch
Primary Flight Display (PFD) on each side. The full installation replaces all the existing
avionics and autopilot components and wiring. The new lighter equipment weight
significantly increases the useful load of the aircraft and comes with a full 2-year equipment warranty. With an extensive list of easy-to-use features, the G1000 provides
safer and more efficient operation, and with Safe Taxi Airport charts and Garmin’s
exclusive Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT), pilots can be assured of greater situational
awareness both in the air and on the ground.
