GippsAERO names Fraction Air as new dealer in Mexico

GippsAERO, a Mahindra Aerospace company, has signed an agreement today appointing Fraction Air S.A. de C.V as a GippsAero authorized dealer for Mexico. Fraction Air will provide new aircraft sales for the GippsAERO GA8 Airvan, an eight-seat utility aircraft that is well suited to the requirements of the Mexican market. “The appointment of Fraction Air as our dealer in Mexico is an exciting step forward in opening the Mexican market for our rugged FAA approved utility aircraft,” said Terry Miles, CEO of GippsAERO.

Arvind Mehra, CEO, Mahindra Aerospace, added “Fraction Air has a commendable reputation in the Mexican marketplace and many years of experience in new aircraft sales and marketing. They are a valuable addition to the ever-expanding GippsAERO dealer network.”

Jose de Jesús Alba, the dealer principal of Fraction Air, said, “We are very excited to be representing GippsAERO and the GA8 Airvan in Mexico. The demand for an economical utility aircraft in Mexico is considerable. The GA8 Airvan will meet the requirements of many different market segments, including the rapidly growing eco-tourism and mining markets.”

Fraction Air has been selling new aircraft in Mexico since 2004. Its team is spread out over the various regions, and actively participates in promoting general and business aviation in Mexico.

The GippsAero GA8 Airvan is an Australian designed and manufactured eight-seat utility aircraft, certified to Part 23.55. Its low-operating costs, excellent STOL capabilities and high full-fuel payload has made the Airvan particularly popular with both private and commerical operators.
