Embraer Executive Jets has added seven seasoned business aviation executives to its North American sales team. They include sales veteran Keith Garner (shown at right) as Vice President Sales for the Large and Ultra-Large Aircraft Division and David Armstrong (shown below) for the Light and Midsize Aircraft Division. Both Garner and Armstrong will report directly to Vice President Sales – North America Bob Knebel.
In addition, three regional sales directors have also been appointed to represent the Company’s light and midsize jets. Spencer Bain is now Regional Sales Director responsible for customer relationships and new business development in the Midwest. Matt Brown has been appointed Regional Sales Director covering the Pacific Northwest, while Dustin Cordier has been appointed Regional Sales Director responsible for the Texas region. All three will report to Armstrong and represent the entry-level Phenom 100, the light Phenom 300, the mid-light Legacy 450 and the midsize Legacy 500.
Embraer Executive Jets has also appointed two regional sales directors for the Legacy 600, Legacy 650 andLineage 1000. John Harris and Mike McCracken will report to Keith Garner. Harris has been appointed Regional Sales Director in the Upper Midwest for the large and ultra-large division. McCracken has been appointed Regional Sales Director responsible for sales in the Southeast.
Garner has broad experience in several senior management roles in the business aviation industry. He has held top-level management positions with several business aircraft manufacturers. He also served as president of Greenwich Aero Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Wichita State University and is a licensed private pilot.
David Armstrong, based at Embraer Executive Jets global headquarters in Melbourne, FL, is a seasoned sales professional who held senior sales roles of increasing responsibility in the whole and fractional industry segments; most recently as senior vice president sales for a major business aviation manufacturer. A former Naval Aviator, Armstrong is an Airline Transport Pilot and has commercial ratings in rotorcraft as well as fixed-wing aircraft.
John Harris is a former Naval Aviator, who has held sales director positions in the business aviation industry covering the Midwest. His experience includes SimuFlight International and Airlift International.
Mike McCracken has more than 30 years’ experience in aviation industry sales with a leading business aviation manufacturer covering the southeast as well as an aviation industry consultant. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Iowa and is an ATP-rated pilot with three type ratings.
Matt Brown joins Embraer Executive Jets from his latest post at GE Aviation where he was responsible for sales and marketing activities for the company’s Air Traffic Management (ATM) business. Prior to his ATM post, he was operations leader responsible for the production, delivery and life-cycle maintenance of GE’s Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) product portfolio. Brown, a pilot, also has experience in product marketing and branding in the business aviation industry.
Spencer Bain has experience in sales with a major fractional ownership company and a business aviation manufacturer. He has also worked for Stemme, a motor glider company. He is a licensed pilot.
Dustin Cordier has extensive experience including a post at FlightSafety International as well as a regional sales vice president for a business aviation manufacturer. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, he also represented AmSouth Bank in sales and marketing.
