2014 Aviation Summit to debut prototype Triton

Triton Airplane Assy 2-25-2012edit.jpg The 2014 Aviation Summit, set for Oct. 31-Nov. 2., is excited to announce the unveiling of Triton, the aircraft concept that affords passengers breakthrough panoramic views and luxury accommodations never before seen in sightseeing adventures and luxury travel.

The concept, developed by Micronautix, will be shown publicly for the first time at the 2014 Aviation Summit, held at the Palm Springs Convention Center. This debut is in addition to the wide array of aircraft, helicopters, aviation equipment, workshops and services offered throughout the weekend.

The Triton will have two separate cockpits on each side of the pilot that will hold 3-5 passengers. Unlike riding on a commercial airline, where window size is of similar proportion to a cereal box, the Triton gives passengers unobstructed panoramic views without the gauges, indicators or instruments.

Passengers will be able to savor memories from the air and take photos of their favorite mountain ranges, lakes and beaches from angles and views rarely captured.

“You get the feeling of a military jet, but it’s a private airplane,” said Marco Parrotto, Principal of Lift Event Management. “It’s probably the hottest looking thing has come out in the last 20 years.”

Triton was designed to focus on the quality of flight experience. It’s a safe and quiet aircraft that was engineered to be flown over places like the Grand Canyon, Key West, Fla., Hawaii, Lake Tahoe and other beautiful destinations.

The 42-ft wingspan will be powered by a 450 horsepower turboprop swinging a large prop at lower RPM for reduced noise and added comfort. The goal for Triton is to find an established aerospace firm that believes in the potential the aircraft has so that engineers can make the Triton a reality.

Lift Event Management, headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, is producing the 2014 Aviation Summit. The highly anticipated weekend will include three days of events, education, parties and parades. Up to 10,000 pilots and industry experts from around the world are expected, giving attendees an opportunity to meet industry representatives face to face. This event will be an outstanding opportunity to learn about new products, receive technical advice from manufacturers and participate in hands-on demonstrations. Lift partners include three avid pilots, two of whom are current/former military pilots. The Lift team has a combined 60 years of business leadership and venture capital experience, and 25 years of trade show management experience.
