MAG, Inc. Continues Maintenance Support for Maryland State Police

MAG 0049-2283100943-O.jpg MAG, Inc. announced they are performing back-to-back, four-year inspections for the Maryland State Police (MSP) fleet of AW139s. One aircraft recently departed MAG’s Northeast Philadelphia facility (PNE) and work has begun on the next aircraft.

MAG, Inc. performed the first four-year inspection for MSP in five weeks at their PNE facility. MAG is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and AgustaWestland Service Center for the A109E/S, AW109SP, A119/AW119MKII and the AB/AW139. Maryland State Police chose MAG, Inc. for their competitive proposal, capabilities, historical knowledge of the MSP fleet, and proximity to their home base.

MAG, Inc. and parent company, Mecaer Aviation Group, support other law enforcement agencies, as well as private and commercially operated AW139s, in the United States and Europe. In addition to maintenance services MAG provides customizing services for all ranges of configurations for the AW139, AW109 and AW119 series.

“We are proud to serve Maryland State Police” said Armando Sassoli, Co-General Manager of Mecaer Aviation Group. “We know these aircraft perform very important missions on a regular basis – saving lives and protecting the citizens of Maryland. We are extremely grateful to the flight department and the services they provide,” Sassoli continued.
