FEAM Aero, in partnership with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), proudly unveiled its stunning new 150,000 square foot hangar, “FEAM Aero’s Hangar 2.0.” This is the company’s second significant investment at CVG.
The grand opening event showcased FEAM’s $45 million investment, a state-of-the-art, three-bay, wide-body hangar. This hangar will significantly enhance FEAM Aero’s capacity to serve domestic and international airlines, air cargo carriers, and leasing companies.
“We are grateful for our successful partnerships with CVG Airport and the unwavering public support of the state of Kentucky,” said Cam Murphy, President of FEAM Aero. “Together, we anticipate growing our economic impact by creating meaningful careers within the local communities. Additionally, our collaboration with Epic Flight Academy in building an Aviation Mechanic Technician (AMT) school on the CVG campus is pivotal in shaping the AMT community of tomorrow. None of this would be possible without our incredible FEAM team and their unwavering dedication to bringing our best-in-class quality and safety standards to fruition.”
The grand opening ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including the Andy Beshear, Governor of Kentucky, Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG, and other prominent community leaders and stakeholders. Their presence underscored the significance of this milestone in bolstering the region’s economy and creating new job opportunities for skilled professionals.
“We continue to see existing Kentucky industries grow and create quality jobs across the state, and the aerospace sector is no exception,” said Gov. Beshear. “FEAM Aero is the latest example of a company with an existing presence in the commonwealth to continue to invest and believe in our communities. This expansion will provide a huge boost to the Northern Kentucky economy and provide high-quality, well-paying jobs to the region. I am thrilled to be here today celebrating this grand opening and am excited to see FEAM Aero continue to succeed here in Kentucky.”
