NATIONAL AIRCRAFT RESALE ASSOCIATION PANEL SELECTED TO PRESENT AT NBAA BACE 2017

The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) has been selected to present a panel discussion at the upcoming National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (BACE) event to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 10-12, 2017.

NARA will have four of its members participate in the session titled, 7 Pitfalls to Avoid When Buying a Pre-Owned Aircraft. This NBAA Business Management educational track session will be held on October 11th at 9:15 AM in room N249.

The 45-minute informative session on Day 2 of the BACE event will include NARA panelists Johnny Foster, NARA Chairman, and President & CEO of OGARAJETS, Brian Proctor, NARA Board Member and President of Mente Group, LLC, Chad Anderson, NARA Board Member and President of Jetcraft Corporation, and it will be moderated by Keith Hayes, NARA Products and Services Member and National Sales Manager for PNC Aviation. During the insightful discussion, these aircraft resale experts will review the current market conditions and then reveal seven critical snags to avoid when purchasing a pre-owned aircraft.

Johnny Foster commented, “We are honored to be selected by NBAA to present this subject matter that is all too familiar to our NARA members that collectively see hundreds of transactions each year. There remain countless opportunities in today’s pre-owned aircraft market and once the buyer navigates these common pitfalls and create the right team for the acquisition process, the results can be very rewarding.”

All 102 NARA members follow a strict NARA Code of Ethics, and the Broker/Dealer members must pass a rigorous certification process to assure the highest standards when buying and selling previously owned aircraft. Ultimately, they are recognized as NARA Certified Aircraft Brokers and Dealers. NARA Products and Services Members represent a variety of aviation services that operate with the highest professional standards in the industry.
