NASAO Applauds Committee Approval of the Aviation Funding Stability Act

The National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) applauds the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure for approving H.R. 4042, the Aviation Funding Stability Act of 2021.

“State aviation leaders commend Committee Chair DeFazio, Aviation Subcommittee Chair Larsen and Representatives Gibbs and Fitzgerald for taking action to protect the nation’s aviation system from the possibility of future federal government shutdowns” said Greg Pecoraro, NASAO President and CEO. “The Aviation Funding Stability Act will keep the vital services of the FAA operating and ensure a stable environment in which critical aviation safety infrastructure projects can continue without interruption. We appreciate the Committee’s action, and we hope the full House will take up this measure and pass it quickly.”
