David Pekoske Confirmed for Second Term as TSA Administrator – Aviation Associations Applaud Decision

The U.S. Senate has confirmed David Pekoske to serve as TSA Administrator for a second term. Aviation Associations including the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), welcomed the confirmation.

GAMA President and CEO, Pete Bunce said the TSA plays an essential role in protecting the U.S. transportation system and Administrator Pekoske’s re-nomination to a second five-year term and bi-partisan support for his confirmation is a testament to his devotion to public service and recognized powerful leadership.  “We look forward to continuing to work with the Administrator and his team to further advance and modernize aviation security, while maintaining the high-level of safety and security that we rely on when utilizing the U.S. transportation system.”
