Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), the trade association representing commercial service airports in the United States and Canada, announced the election of several new leaders across the organization.
Kim Becker, President and CEO of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, and Jamie L. Rhee, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation, were elected to the ACI-NA Board of Directors. As Immediate Past Chair of the ACI-NA World Business Partners/Associates Board of Directors, Derryl Benton, Executive Vice-President of Business Development for HMSHost has also joined the ACI-NA Board of Directors. Chellie Cameron, CEO of Philadelphia International Airport, was elected to serve as chair of the U.S. Policy Council.
“Despite the prolonged crisis the airport industry faces because of the COVID-19 pandemic, ACI-NA continues to serve our industry well as the premier trade association representing the commercial airport industry in North America,” said ACI-NA Board of Directors Chair Lew Bleiweis, Executive Director of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority. “As our organization and industry continues to plan for the future, I look forward to our ongoing work with Chellie, Kim, Jamie, Derryl, and the members of ACI-NA’s Board of Directors, U.S. and Canadian Policy Councils, and World Business Partners/Associates Board of Directors to advance airport priorities and promote commonsense solutions to the immense challenges confronting our industry.”

Cameron succeeds Rick Tucker, CEO of Huntsville International Airport, who will continue serving as the Immediate Past Chair of the U.S. Policy Council. Justin Erbacci, CEO of Los Angeles World Airports, Larry Krauter, CEO of Spokane International Airport, Mario Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, and Jason Terreri, Executive Director of Syracuse Hancock International Airport, were also elected to the U.S. Policy Council.
Stéphane Poirier, President and CEO of Quebec City Jean-Lesage International Airport, was elected to the Canadian Policy Council.
Monica Newhouse-Rodriguez, Managing Principal of Newhouse & Associates, LLC, became the 2021 chair of the ACI-NA World Business Partners/Associates Board of Directors, with Brian Reed, Director of Strategic Initiatives for Burns & McDonnell, as Vice Chair. Other members newly elected to the WBP/Associates Board include Lynn Gordon, Vice President of Business Development for Arconas Corporation, Bill P. Hogan, Vice President of Landrum & Brown, Inc., and Roel Huinink, President and CEO of JFK International Air Terminal LLC.
