The Board of Directors of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) has announced the approval of a slate of leaders to the Association’s Executive Committee, including the election of Spokane International Airport CEO Larry Krauter, A.A.E., AICP, to serve as Secretary/Treasurer. The vacancy on the AAAE Executive Committee filled by Krauter was created by the passing of First Vice Chair Todd McNamee, A.A.E., in November.
“While we continue to mourn our cherished friend and colleague Todd McNamee, the election of Larry Krauter to the AAAE Executive Committee allows us to begin to move forward after the loss of Todd,” said AAAE Chair Jeanne Olivier, A.A.E., ACE, Assistant Director, Aviation Security and Technology at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. “Larry is a thoughtful, accomplished, and recognized leader among airport executives and the aviation industry, and he will make immediate contributions to the AAAE Executive Committee and to the service of the airport profession.”
In addition to Krauter’s appointment, the Board elevated Kelly Campbell, A.A.E., from the position of Secretary/Treasurer to Second Vice Chair and Tory Richardson, A.A.E., from Second Vice Chair to First Vice Chair. Campbell is the Executive Director, Aviation for the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport and Richardson is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.
