Belgian Aero Club U.E.S. Expands Fleet With 14th Tecnam Aircraft

Tecnam announced that the Belgian ultralight flight school U.E.S., operating as “FLY4FUN” at Avernas-le-Bauduin (EBAV), has confirmed the order of a new Tecnam P92 MkII. Scheduled for delivery in spring 2027, this highly anticipated addition will mark the fourteenth Tecnam aircraft to join the school’s fleet over its history.

Founded in 2000 as a small flying school with barely 30 members, FLY4FUN has experienced remarkable growth and success. Today, the vibrant aeroclub boasts approximately 110 members—including over 60 active renters—and is guided by a dedicated team of four expert instructors.

The school made the strategic decision to switch to Tecnam in 2010. Since then, they have accumulated an impressive 15,000 to 18,000 flying hours exclusively on Tecnam aircraft. The current active fleet consists of four classic Tecnam P92s and three new-generation P92 MkIIs, one of which is privately owned by a club member.

“As a school, we are particularly pleased to be expanding our fleet shortly with an additional P92 MkII,” said Philippe Hendrickx, Head of the School at FLY4FUN. “I continue to consciously choose Tecnam for a few qualities that we particularly appreciate: the reliability, robustness, and forgiving nature of the aircraft themselves. Reliability of the equipment and continuity through effective dealer support are essential for building trust.”

Hendrickx also emphasized the critical role of local maintenance and dealer relationships, noting that the after-sales service is “impeccable and unrivalled in this field.” This high standard of continuous support is expertly provided by Tecnam’s official Belgian dealer, Capco Aviation, managed by Gustave, Ivan, and Thibaut Cappuyns, who ensure that operators in the region experience maximum flight time and minimal delays.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate this continued milestone with Philippe and the entire FLY4FUN family,” stated Pasquale De Rosa, Sales Manager for Europe at Tecnam. “Choosing Tecnam for fourteen consecutive aircraft and logging up to 18,000 flight hours is a true testament to the enduring quality of the P92 series and the strong partnership we share. We also want to deeply thank Gustave, Ivan, and Thibaut at Capco Aviation, whose dedication to outstanding customer service makes enduring success stories like this possible.”
