Joseph Y Resnick Airport (N89) Installs DigiWx II AWOS AV

Baltimore, MDMay 7, 2009.  The Joseph Y Resnick Airport (N89) located in Ellenville, NY has just completed the installation of the Belfort DigiWx II AWOS AV system.

 

The Belfort DigiWx II is an automated weather system reporting FAA certified altimeter and FAA certified visibility with advisory winds, temperature and humidity.  The real time weather report is available over the Unicom radio.   The DigiWx II is approved for FAA Part 91 and FAA Part 135 IFR approaches and is specifically designed for General Aviation airports.   

B&H Taxilane Lighting Inc. was the prime contractor for the project with Passero Associates as the consulting firm.

Kim Stevens

Kim Stevens is the publisher of State Aviation Journal, which he founded in 2009. A longtime commercial-rated pilot, he was introduced to state aviation in 1992 as Director of the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, later serving as Deputy Division Director for the Arizona Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division.
