PSA Airlines announced it has officially opened its new headquarters in Charlotte, completing its corporate relocation from Dayton, Ohio. With its move to Charlotte, which did not include any state or local incentives, PSA becomes North Carolina’s and the region’s only part 121 passenger airline based here.
PSA’s headquarters relocation to Charlotte – which included moving many Dayton-based team members, as well as hiring many Charlotte-area residents – is a testament to the importance of CLT to PSA’s operation and American’s network. Once fully staffed, over 450 team members will be based in the headquarters. This includes about 150 team members who relocated from Dayton; over 50 team members who were already based in Charlotte at other facilities; and about 250 positions that comprise new hires (over 80% of which have been filled).
“We are looking forward to starting our journey in Charlotte in earnest. Our relocators, many of whom were so excited to be here that they moved early, love it here. The talent we’re infusing from the local market is top-notch, and there’s an abundance of it,” said Dion Flannery, President and CEO of PSA Airlines. “Because of what Charlotte offers, PSA has a stronger foundation for continued growth. And we believe the benefit will be mutual, as the region will continue having reliable aviation partners, a top employer and a responsible corporate citizen headquartered in its backyard.”
With a current average of over 730 daily departures, including about 130 out of CLT, PSA serves American’s American Eagle regional network, directly supporting four American hubs – CLT, Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Philadelphia (PHL), and Washington, D.C. (DCA) – with routes to over 100 markets spanning parts of Canada and the Caribbean, going as far west as Texas, and flying throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.
The new headquarters is located at 2709 Water Ridge Parkway (28217), which is in the Water Ridge Office Park about two miles from American Airlines’ Charlotte Flight Training Center and five miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), where many PSA team members are based. A grand opening event is planned for March 2026. More details will be provided as the date draws nearer.
PSA will maintain a significant presence in Dayton, where hundreds of team members – including pilots, flight attendants, aircraft maintenance technicians and supply chain professionals – will continue to be based at the company’s Dayton International Airport crew base and maintenance hangar.
