{"id":9382,"date":"2017-08-08T00:03:15","date_gmt":"2017-08-08T00:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/?p=9382"},"modified":"2017-08-08T00:05:34","modified_gmt":"2017-08-08T00:05:34","slug":"daher-makes-strong-showing-at-airventure-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/national-news\/daher-makes-strong-showing-at-airventure-2017\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Daher Makes Strong Showing at AirVenture 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Daher recognized the TBM community\u2019s strong presence at this year\u2019s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, with the participation of 60 TBM very fast turboprop airplanes \u2013 once again representing the largest number of turbine-powered aircraft at the annual fly-in.<\/p>\n<p>Several TBMs made long flights to join the world-leading aviation gathering at Wittman Regional Airport, with eight coming from Europe (including an airplane piloted by David Fabry, manager of Flying Smart \u2013 the U.K. TBM distributor), and a TBM 900 from Sao Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Daher\u2019s annual customer appreciation dinner was attended by more than 400 invited guests.<\/p>\n<p>For its appearance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Daher showcased its two latest production aircraft: the TBM 930 and TBM 910; and also brought the full-scale replica of the Morane-Saulnier Type L aircraft \u2013 a century-old ancestor to the TBM product line, which attracted a steady flow of visitors during the event, held July 24-30.<\/p>\n<p>Daher concluded the sale of four pre-owned TBMs at Oshkosh along with two TBM 930s \u2013 one of which will be delivered to a customer in the U.S. state of Georgia. The other TBM 930 is for Canada \u2013 an important growth market for Daher \u2013 and will be based in the Toronto metropolitan area.
