This individual will be responsible for monitoring aviation engineering projects from project inception through project closeout.<\/p>\n<p>Summary of Job Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with local municipalities and airport authorities to assist with the development of grant requests<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Federal Aviation Administration and TDOT grant compliance<\/li>\n<li>For assigned airport projects, contribute oversight during the design phase to ensure FAA and state standards and requirements are met<\/li>\n<li>Work with the assigned airport during the bidding of construction plans and throughout the construction phase to ensure the project is completed in accordance with all plans and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the aviation project engineering and construction budget to help prevent unnecessary budget overages and time delays<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight of contract billing<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance to the airport sponsor or sponsor\u2019s representative during all phases airport construction<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have pavement construction experience; experience with airfield pavement construction preferred<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience with earthwork and drainage projects; additionally, experience writing, reviewing, or processing construction change orders<\/li>\n<li>Project management or project delivery experience with ability to effectively manage multi-project deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong written and verbal presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory skills<\/li>\n<li>Travel is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.S.
