The director fosters the development of aeronautics to support the state\u2019s transportation system and economic vitality.<\/p>\n<p>This is a dynamic position that manages and oversees WSDOT\u2019s crucial aviation programs:<\/p>\n<p>Airport investments (grants &amp; capital improvements)<\/p>\n<p>Aviation system and airport land-use planning<\/p>\n<p>Aircraft registration<\/p>\n<p>WSDOT-managed airports<\/p>\n<p>Aviation emergency management<\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates should apply by Thursday, June 15.
