Brazil\u2019s civil aviation regulator ANAC (Ag\u00c3\u00aancia Nacional de Avia\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o Civil) has issued an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to Modern Logistics, a rising Brazilian supply-chain solution company, following a comprehensive audit.\u00c2\u00a0 The AOC was received on April 4, 2017.<\/p>\n
Modern Logistics offers third-party logistics solutions via an integrated logistics platform with multimodal transport and distribution centers strategically-located across the country.\u00c2\u00a0 With the AOC, Modern Logistics now adds a third, and most strategic, asset to its operation:\u00c2\u00a0 the right to operate a fleet of cargo aircraft in Brazil and the region.<\/p>\n
“The AOC attests to our technical ability to operate in Brazil and the region. The timing is certainly opportune given the economic recovery of the country,\u201d said Gerald Blake Lee, Modern Logitsics\u2019 Chief Executive Officer.\u00c2\u00a0 “ANAC\u2019s approval represents more than two years of dedication from our team. And we sincerely thank the technicians of ANAC and the other government agencies that supported us in the certification process.\u201d<\/p>\n
Modern Logistics is optimizing the Brazilian logistics network by creating more efficient supply-chain solutions.\u00c2\u00a0 The company seeks to \u2018fill the infrastructure gap,\u2019 flying its freighter aircraft where service and infrastructure are lacking, and complement its network capabilities with strategic partners.<\/p>\n
