Continental Motors Group\u2122 Ltd, an AVIC International Holding Corporation company, announced today that its operating division Southern Avionics and Interiors\u2122 has re-opened after relocating to the H. L. Sonny Callahan airport (KCQF) in Fairhope, Alabama.<\/p>\n
Southern Avionics and Interiors\u2122 was founded over thirty years ago and has built, over the years, a reputation for excellence in avionics installations and repairs, instrument panel fabrication and interior design and refurbishment. Southern Avionics and Interiors\u2122 moved to Fairhope, AL, from its original location at the Mobile downtown Airport (KBFM) to better service its customers. Southern Avionics and Interiors \u2122 is joining Continental Motors Services\u2122 (CMS) in a facility that includes three maintenance hangars and a 25,000 square foot newly refurbished MRO facility that is ideal for GA aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations.<\/p>\n

All the capabilities and personnel from Southern Avionics and Interiors\u2122 made the transition to Fairhope\u2019s modern and spacious premises located on an active 6,600 ft runway with instrument approaches, allowing easy access to the airport for aircraft of all sizes. We will continue to offer the services that made the reputation of Southern Avionics\u2122 such as legacy avionics bench repairs, Pitot\/Static certifications, and also specialized services, such as RVSM certification, database and software upgrades, service bulletin compliance and proprietary STC installations (Cessna\u00ae Citation\u2122 alarm panel installations). Southern Avionics\u2122 offers the full range of new avionics installations, glass cockpit retrofits, and ADS-B installations.
