The online portal tracks and records every training event which provides auditable electronic records with management reporting to Florida airports.<\/div>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&ldquo;It&#8217;s very easy to get started.&rdquo; reported Chris Pheasant, SSI&#8217;s Director of Security Programs. &ldquo;Florida Airport Training Coordinators attend a 30-minute orientation webinar which familiarizes them with the system, demonstrates how to enroll their staff and tenants as well as explains the recordkeeping features. &nbsp;SSi is holding weekly meetings so that all airports have a chance to attend&ldquo;.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Interested Florida airports should contact Fred Karuga, FDOT at 850.414.4512 or Fred.Karuga@dot.state.fl.us to designate an Airport Training Coordinator.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>SSI provides web-based training to airport, aviation and transportation companies.
