{"id":719,"date":"2011-11-17T04:02:42","date_gmt":"2011-11-17T04:02:42","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-11-17T04:02:42","modified_gmt":"2011-11-17T04:02:42","slug":"airline-service-western-kansas-dallas-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/news\/airline-service-western-kansas-dallas-approved\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Airline service from Western Kansas to Dallas approved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;Flights between Garden City and Dallas are expected to begin next spring, after federal authorities chose American Eagle to provide commercial air service between the cities.&nbsp;The city was told by the U.S. Department of Transportation last week that it had selected American Eagle to provide 14 round-trip flights per week to and from Dallas on a 44-seat jet.<\/p>\n<div>Great Lakes Airlines was also selected as the Essential Air Service provider for Dodge City, Liberal, Hays and Great Bend.
