According to the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority, a new asphalt surface was applied over the entire runway.<\/p>\n<p>Ninety five percent of the project was funded through the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program using discretionary funds in the amount of $1,071,618.
