The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission has shared a video recording of its recent public presentation highlighting the findings of the 2025 North Dakota Aviation System Plan and Aviation Economic Impact Study.<\/p>\n\n\n

The studies found that North Dakota’s aviation and aerospace industry generates nearly $3.6 billion in annual economic output and supports approximately 28,734 jobs statewide. This includes the economic activity generated by the state’s 89 public-use airports, aerospace manufacturers, the University of North Dakota’s School of Aerospace Sciences, the unmanned aircraft systems industry, and Grand Forks and Minot Air Force Bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to documenting aviation’s current economic impact, the State Aviation System Plan<\/a> evaluates existing airport infrastructure, forecasts future aviation activity, and identifies priorities that will help guide aviation investment over the next decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
