The exhibition is on display now through August 4, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"504\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/unnamed-2026-05-17T112346.994.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35340\" style=\"width:328px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/unnamed-2026-05-17T112346.994.jpg 504w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/unnamed-2026-05-17T112346.994-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The process of curating this new exhibit was inspiring. \u201cThe quality of the submissions were extraordinary,\u201d said Alexandra Ingle, curator of the Art in the Airport program. \u201cI am always deeply impressed by the incredible talent this region is fortunate to call its own.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A common thread runs through the selected works. Each piece speaks to a specific place and time, drawing attention to past, present and future, and together celebrating the natural beauty of the region and the idea of capturing a fleeting moment in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibit takes its name from a theme that surfaced during the curation process. \u201cWhen I began reviewing submissions, I wasn\u2019t looking for a title. I was looking for resonance,\u201d Inge said. \u201cAs the selections came together, it became clear each piece was in conversation with where we are and when we are. Place &amp; Time felt like the only authentic name for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place &amp; Time is on display in AVL\u2019s new art gallery, which opened in June 2025 in the new North Concourse.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6754-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6754-edit.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6754-edit-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The eight artists featured in Place &amp; Time represent a range of mediums:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Christa Capua, digital collage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marcia Moore, reclaimed bike tire sculptures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Erik Mace, photography (archival pigment print)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Martin Pasco, acrylic and oil landscapes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jeff Kinzel, foil on canvas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kevin Andrew, acrylic and marker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maddison Graybill, ceramics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deb Williams, kiln-formed glass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Place &amp; Time is on display in the AVL terminal through August 4, 2026.
