The new transatlantic route will run during the 2026 summer season, with up to four flights per week. San Francisco becomes LOT\u2019s sixth regular U.S. destination, joining Chicago, New York, Newark, Miami and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LOT Polish Airlines continues to expand its North American network with new direct transatlantic services. The United States remains one of the airline\u2019s key long-haul markets, for both business and leisure travel. The expansion of LOT\u2019s North American network also supports its strategy to strengthen Warsaw\u2019s position as a connecting hub in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/LOT-SF.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35189\" style=\"width:399px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/LOT-SF.jpg 960w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/LOT-SF-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The first flight to San Francisco took off on 6 May 2026, with a schedule extending through October 22, 2026. Passengers can fly between Warsaw and San Francisco four times a week. Flight LO35 departs Warsaw for San Francisco on Thursdays and Sundays at 11:15, while flight LO37 operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 17:40. Return flights to Warsaw operate on the same days: LO36 departs San Francisco at 15:50, and LO38 at 22:15. The journey aboard LOT\u2019s comfortable Boeing 787 Dreamliner takes approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today\u2019s launch of the Warsaw-San Francisco service is more than an expansion of our route network. It is an investment in a route that connects business, innovation and global ambition. With this launch, San Francisco becomes the sixth U.S. airport in our scheduled network. The new service will create opportunities for business partnerships, knowledge exchange and stronger economic ties between Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the U.S. West Coast. It will also make one of the world\u2019s most inspiring cities more accessible to travellers.
