Courtesy of the Metropolitan Airports Commission<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is launching the first major redevelopment of Terminal 1 concessions at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in nearly a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This summer, the MAC will release a request for proposals (RFP) including more than 45 food, beverage and retail spaces across Terminal 1, which serves hub carrier Delta Air Lines and 10 other airlines. In preparation for the RFP release, the MAC is hosting a series of information sessions designed to help local and small business owners understand the RFP process and learn what is involved in operating at MSP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe MAC is proud of its strong partnerships with local entrepreneurs, and we\u2019re committed to expanding opportunities for homegrown businesses to thrive at MSP, which serves more than 36 million travelers each year,\u201d said Isabella Rhawie, MAC vice president and commercial revenue officer. \u201cThis is a prime opportunity for Minnesota-based small and emerging businesses to broaden their reach within an award-winning concessions program at one of the nation\u2019s largest airports.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MSP concessions program encompasses approximately 125 venues across two terminals.
