The program is now accepting applications from local artists who wish to showcase their work in the airport\u2019s new North Concourse. This will be the first \u201cArt in the Airport\u201d exhibit featured in the new terminal. These visual works offer thousands of daily travelers a window into the cultural richness of our mountain communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cArt plays a vital role in welcoming visitors, calming nerves, and creating a more engaging and memorable airport experience,\u201d said Marketing and PR Manager, Alexandra Ingle, who curates Art in the Airport. \u201cIt also honors the incredible talent right here in our region \u2014 and contributes to the economic vitality of our creative community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artists who reside in one of the eleven nearest counties served by AVL are invited to apply.
