{"id":32492,"date":"2025-08-18T16:50:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T16:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/?p=32492"},"modified":"2025-08-18T16:50:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T16:50:11","slug":"mark-rudolph-promoted-to-assistant-director-of-field-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/news\/airports\/mark-rudolph-promoted-to-assistant-director-of-field-maintenance\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Mark Rudolph Promoted to Assistant Director of Field Maintenance\u200b"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) has promoted Mark Rudolph to assistant director of field maintenance to oversee Federal Aviation Administration airfield maintenance compliance requirements at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), the 17th busiest passenger airport in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"196\" height=\"263\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Mark-Rudolph-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32493\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Mark Rudolph<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>In his new role, Rudolph will assist with all maintenance programming operations, such as airport emergency planning, airside and landside maintenance, and snow and ice control. He will also play a key role in preparing and administering operating and capital equipment budgets and in aligning the department\u2019s work with the MAC\u2019s enterprise strategic plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the past eight years, Rudolph served as manager of field maintenance and planning, overseeing MSP\u2019s entire fleet department as well as fleet maintenance needs at the MAC\u2019s six general aviation airports. Having started as an airport maintenance worker in 1999, Rudolph knows the MAC\u2019s operations from the ground up. In 2011, he was promoted to assistant manager of field maintenance before moving into a manager position in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMark\u2019s exceptional career acumen and drive to excel make him a remarkable leader,\u201d said Joe Harris, vice president of management and operations at the MAC. \u201cHe has established the standard of excellence in field maintenance, and his unwavering dedication to the MAC, our airports and every one of our visitors is a key reason why our crew is held in such high regard across the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rudolph is a member of the Association of Equipment Manager Professionals and the American Public Works Association.
