Photo by Griffey Bostock.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EAA delivered again at AirVenture Oshkosh 2025. \u201cOur theme of \u2018One Week \u2013 Endless Possibilities\u2019 certainly was true at Oshkosh in 2025,&#8221; said EAA CEO and Chairman Jack Pelton. &#8220;Whether it was aviation history or innovation or camaraderie, it was present in countless ways during the week. This year\u2019s highlights and activities also set the foundation for what\u2019s to come in the world of flight, and that is perhaps the most exciting development of all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendance was recorded at approximately 704,000 \u2013 the highest total on record. At Wittman alone, there were 16,246 aircraft operations in the period from noon CDT July 17 to noon CDT July 28, which is an average of approximately 108 takeoffs\/landings per hour when the airport is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were 2,543 total showplanes, including 995 vintage aircraft, 910 homebuilt aircraft, 361 warbirds, 101 ultralights and light planes, 75 aerobatic aircraft, 74 seaplanes and amphibians, 18 rotorcraft, and 9 balloons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introducing Griffey Bostock<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Griffey-Bostock.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32357\" style=\"width:316px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Griffey-Bostock.jpg 600w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Griffey-Bostock-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Griffey Bostock<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>All of the photos in this edition of Focus were shot by Griffey Bostock, an advanced amateur photographer based in Denver, Colorado. It all started in the 7th grade, when he began taking photography courses. \u201cI&#8217;ve always loved aviation and after taking the photography course, I decided to photograph aircraft arriving at Denver International Airport,\u201d said the young photographer. \u201cSince then, I&#8217;ve traveled all over the US taking photos at museums and airshows.\u201d He uses the Canon 90D and Rebel 850D series cameras with the Sigma Photo 150-600mm contemporary lens and 18-300mm contemporary.
