The action was taken at the Board&#8217;s quarterly meeting, which was held May 21, 2025 in Staunton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greg Campbell, director of the Virginia Department of Aviation, said, &#8220;The 25 projects awarded funding by the Virginia Aviation Board at its quarterly meeting are meaningful enhancements that will improve the experience for pilots, aviation enthusiasts and the flying public.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Virginia Aviation Board Chairman Randy Burdette said, &#8220;We continue to make important investments in our system of 65 public-use airports in Virginia.&nbsp;
