Having the awards presented by his mentors and in front of his colleagues made it extra special. On behalf of the City Council, we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and his leadership in advancing the success of Chandler Municipal Airport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since becoming Airport Manager in 2022, Reeves has overseen key infrastructure improvements and prioritized long-term planning to enhance airport safety and future growth while remaining a good neighbor to surrounding neighborhoods and businesses in the Airpark Area. Reeves also is working with consultants to execute a community impact study and the development of a strategic business plan.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"254\" src=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AzAA-Awards.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31603\" style=\"width:285px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AzAA-Awards.png 400w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AzAA-Awards-300x191.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This past April, he worked with the Federal Aviation Administration and a research team who conducted flight tests with several different models of helicopters to test and create safety regulations that will impact all vertical takeoff and landing aircraft facilities nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reeves and his small yet mighty team also are busy planning for the next Airport Day, a community event held at the airport scheduled for January 2026.
