{"id":30418,"date":"2024-12-15T23:20:40","date_gmt":"2024-12-15T23:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/?p=30418"},"modified":"2024-12-15T23:20:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T23:20:42","slug":"gama-president-ceo-testifies-before-congress-regarding-implementation-of-faa-reauthorization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/national-news\/gama-president-ceo-testifies-before-congress-regarding-implementation-of-faa-reauthorization\/%20","title":{"rendered":"GAMA President &amp; CEO Testifies before Congress Regarding Implementation of FAA Reauthorization"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">On December 11th, General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) President and CEO, Pete Bunce, testified before the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation in a hearing entitled: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/transportation.house.gov\/calendar\/eventsingle.aspx?EventID=407897\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/transportation.house.gov\/calendar\/eventsingle.aspx?EventID=407897\">FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024: Stakeholder Perspectives on Implementation<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In his testimony, Bunce applauded Congress for passing the 2024 FAA Reauthorization Act into law, which included key priorities that GAMA advocated for including policies that advance safety, jobs, innovation and global competitiveness in aviation.
