His service to the United States National Air Sports Control and the entire international air sports community, marked by his exceptional management and recording of aviation records, earned him the prestigious F\u00e9d\u00e9ration A\u00e9ronautique Internationale (FAI) Silver Medal in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u201cUnderstanding and applying the FAI Sporting Code is imperative to the NAA mission,\u201d said Amy Spowart, NAA President and CEO.&nbsp; \u201cArt&#8217;s passion for international air sports, attention to detail, desire for accuracy, and thorough knowledge of NAA and FAI practices are second to none. Art\u2019s promotion is a testament to his dedication to our vision and impact. Demonstrating thorough knowledge of aviation is a hallmark of Greenfield\u2019s work ethic and his influence in various aviation organizations serve as a testament to that. He currently serves nationally as a NAA Director, and as a member of the NAA Contest and Records Board. Internationally, Greenfield participates as an elected member of&nbsp; FAI\u2019s General Air Sport Commission (CASI), and FAI\u2019s General Aviation Commission (GAC).
