Photo courtesy of CAP Major Hal Friday (VT-076)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bennington Composite Squadron (VT-076) of the Vermont\nWing, Civil Air Patrol (CAP), has promoted Cadet Kale Bushee to the rank of\nCadet\/Major, the first Bennington cadet ever to achieve the rank. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rank of CAP Cadet Major represents a cadet as having\nreached their first field grade cadet officer grade and their strategic\nexpertise in training program management. Cadets at this grade are recognized\nfor&#8211;alongside accomplishments in physical fitness, performance of leadership\nresponsibilities&#8211;proficiency in executive management of squadron programs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCadet\/Major Bushee\u2019s promotion is the highest ever awarded\nin the history of our squadron.
