The appointment comes as Heart Aerospace, based in\nSweden, enters a new phase of hardware testing in advance of the company\ndemonstrating fully electric flight during next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stabler brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Heart\nAerospace, having led hardware and software teams on the Crew Dragon program at\nSpaceX and served as co-founder of Parallel Systems, developer of automated,\nbattery-electric freight rail vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experienced in building safe, high performing vehicles,\nStabler has demonstrated that he can grow cross-functional teams to solve\ninter-disciplinary problems. His appointment underscores Heart Aerospace\u2019s\ncommitment to move at pace to define a new paradigm for innovation and\nsustainability in the aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the Heart team as\nour new CTO,&#8221; said Anders Forslund, co-founder, and CEO of Heart\nAerospace. &#8220;Ben&#8217;s proven track record and passion for innovation align\nperfectly with our mission to revolutionize air travel by decarbonizing and\ndemocratizing the skies. His leadership will be instrumental in this new and\nexciting phase of hardware testing and technological advancement.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The appointment of Stabler to the role of CTO comes as Heart\nAerospace significantly expands its presence in the United States with the\nestablishment of a new Research and Development hub in Los Angeles, California.\nStabler will be based in Los Angeles where he will recruit a team to work\nclosely with the organization based at Heart Aerospace\u2019s headquarters in\nGothenburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Decarbonization of aviation is one of the most\nimportant and difficult challenges we will face over the next 20 years,\u201d said\nBenjamin Stabler. \u201cHeart has shown that we can make an impact today.
