Last week, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association\nannounced, during its press conference at Aero Friedrichshafen, the publication\nof a white paper entitled \u201cRecommendations for Accelerating the Development of\nthe Electric Aviation Sector in Europe.\u201d The paper proposes important\nrecommendations for European regulators and policymakers to support the\nemerging sector of electric aviation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The paper builds upon GAMA\u2019s efforts advocating for key\npolicy and legislative measures needed to accelerate the development of\nelectric aviation in Europe. It highlights the need for creating and\nstrengthening appropriate funding frameworks, building a robust and resilient\nsupply chain and fostering the appropriate regulatory and policy environment to\nsupport the emergence and success of the electric aviation industry. Providing\nEASA with the critical resources and budgetary support it needs to support the\ncertification process is also one of the key recommendations of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
