This day is intended to increase\nawareness on the importance of safe drone operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FAA encourages you to teach drone pilots how to\nFlyRIGHT:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Register your drone with Remote ID \u2014 Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/faadronezone-access.faa.gov\/#\/\">FAADroneZone<\/a> <\/li><li>Interact with others \u2014 Connect with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faasafety.gov\/SPANS\/events\/EventList.aspx\">drone flying community<\/a><\/li><li>Gain and share knowledge \u2014 Learn the rules at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\">FAA.gov\/uas<\/a><\/li><li>Have a safety plan \u2014 Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/getting_started\/b4ufly\">B4UFLY<\/a><\/li><li>TRUST and Train \u2014 Take the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/recreational_flyers\/knowledge_test_updates\">safety test<\/a> and get flying. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more about what events may be happening near you or to register your event, explore our <a href=\"https:\/\/ncatech.org\/2023-drone-safety-day-events\/\">current list<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional information about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/events\/drone_safety_day\">Drone Safety Day<\/a> is available on the FAA website, including STEM-focused resources and Drone@Home activities.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The FAA has announced that this year&#8217;s Drone Safety Day will take place on April 27, 2024, and is inviting you to take part in this global campaign by either hosting an event, creating content, or participating in an event, whether in person or virtually.
