He will be joining the team beginning April 8<sup>th<\/sup>.\nBarnes, who previously was the Airport Operations Specialist at the Southwest\nOregon Regional Airport, graduated from Central Washington University with a\ndegree in Aviation Management and is currently working on his master&#8217;s degree\nfrom Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Aeronautics with a specialty in\nSustainability. Furthermore, Cole has obtained his commercial pilot\u2019s license\nfrom the Big Bend Community College, a characteristic that will help him\nconnect more with our pilots based at Bremerton National Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are very fortunate on the timing for Cole moving back to\nthis area,\u201d says Port CEO Jim Rothlin. \u201cHis education and expertise in airport\nmanagement is a perfect fit for our team. There are so many exciting projects\nand ideas in the works at the airport, and Cole is very motivated to hit the\nground running and continue with the Port\u2019s success here at Bremerton National\nairport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the addition of Cole, Bremerton National Airport will\ncontinue to facilitate a mutually beneficial relationship with the FAA and\nsecure funds to make the necessary improvements to the airfield. Cole has also\nstated that he is particularly looking forward to relocating back to our region\nof Washington while working with us at Bremerton National Airport, as he grew\nup in the Shelton area. His hobbies include fishing, flying, and golf.
